ALET's Talent LMS offers online learning opportunities for current technology directors as well as Chief Technology Officer Academy cohort members and graduates. It is also where technology directors can track their accumulated credit hours throughout the year. Note that for AL SDE monthly meetings and E-Rate Bootcamps, the hours reported to us by the SDE will be posted to your TalentLMS account at the end of the year.
Accounts must be created by ALET. If you fall into one of the two categories above, we will automatically create an account for you. If you do not receive account information, please email Susan Poling at susan.poling at go-alet.org.
Instructions for Checking Your PD Hours:
1. Log in to your ALET TalentLMS account (Your username is the first part of your email address.)
2. After you have logged in, click your user icon in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Choose My Progress (Warning: This will display all of your work. However, non-credit and courses completed before October 1, 2025, will not count towards your FY26 required 12 hours.
4. Choose Export in Excel.
5. Click the Courses tab.
6. Check your list of "courses" for those with a completion date on or after October 1, 2025.
7. If you are missing any outside events such as CoSN, ISTE, AETC, etc., enroll in those courses and complete their assignments. If you have a 'course' that is not completed, log back into TalentLMS and complete any assignments.
8. Remember that only 6 hours total from any non-ALET, external* professional development will count towards your total.
